Under the Direction of the LBMCOC Heritage Committee and our Association, the museum is seeking residents' help in compiling information about the military service of residents in Logy Bay - Middle Cove - Outer Cove for a project at the Veterans Memorial. The names of those who served in military and peacekeeping operations, including the Merchant Navy and the Newfoundland Overseas Forestry Unit, and have passed will be carved onto two granite tablets. These tablets will be located on each side of our Veteran's Memorial at Ship Point in Outer Cove. See our Projects Page for more information on this new addition to the Veterans Memorial site. Many thanks to the LBMCOC Heritage Committee and the Town’s Museum staff for supporting our Association on this project. Our Veterans Memorial pays tribute to the many men and women from our town who served.

For full details please click on the attached Museum poster below.
