Just before “The Spookiest Night of the Year”, K-2 students visited their pumpkin patch which they planted before school broke for summer holidays and to learn about compost making. Many thanks to principal Krista Brown and her teaching staff for her continuing support to our Association’s Community Garden and for permission to use their photos.
Special thanks to all teachers who participated and to Board Member John Kennedy, Rita Kennedy, and Garden coordinator, Karen Youden Walsh for coordinating the visit to the garden.
Look closely at the first picture below to see a pumpkin growing in a tree.
